You will be given access to a personal broker portal where you can:

  • Incept new business
  • Process mid-term adjustments
  • Purchase additional miles
  • Renew & Cancel policies

Our professional installation team will contact your customers directly to arrange for a Telematics Smart Box to be installed.
This must be completed within 7 days from inception date of the policy.

Customers can drive their vehicle as soon as the policy starts and do not need to wait for the box to be installed.

Your dedicated Measured Miles interventions team will monitor all data and will inform you if actions are required for your customers.

  • The speed - whether the customer is sticking to the speed limits of the roads they are travelling on.
  • The smoothness - making sure the customer is in control of their driving (for example taking corners carefully).
  • The usage - this covers length of journeys, times and locations the vehicle is driven.
  • The mileage - used throughout the policy year. (Your customer will be able to monitor their driving data and miles via their personal, online dashboard)

No! There are no curfews imposed on our policies and customers are not limited to the times they can drive. However, driving later at night can affect your customer’s driving scores.

Measured Miles will send your customers an email within 48 hours of inception with login details to access their personal online dashboard.

This will enable them to monitor their mileage, view individual scores for the last 20 journeys as well as their current overall driving score.

Premiums will not fluctuate throughout the policy year however, there is £100 penalty customers can incur when carrying out 3 high risk journeys within a 30-day rolling period.

It does! As this is a Telematics Smart Box policy, we monitor postcodes throughout the duration of the insurance. If the car cannot be kept at the disclosed address for most of the time, the customer can add a secondary postcode as well. Adding a secondary postcode may incur an additional premium.

As soon as the insurance has come to an end, the Telematics Smart Box does not need to be removed and will be deactivated.

Should your customer want the Telematics Smart Box removed a charge will apply.

Unfortunately, this product will not be able to offer a quote.

The policy excess is dependent on the insurer and is visible within the individual insurer product guides which will be available to you, excesses are also visible prior to inception within the portal.

Each insurer has a compulsory excess, voluntary excesses are not available for this product.

If a policy is incepted on a provisional license and the customer passes their test, there are no additional fees to process this change.

Renewal invites that are based on driving data will be readily available within your Broker Portal 30 days prior to the renewal date. Renewals are processed within the portal.

Please note - Policies do not automatically renew.
